Zahirabad Industrial Smart City spans 3,245 acres

The government was developing the industrial city across 3,245 acres as a major manufacturing and industrial hub. Sridhar Babu said the project could generate direct and indirect employment for nearly two lakh people after becoming fully operational.

The Telangana government held a 51% stake in the project through its land contribution. Meanwhile, the Central government provided financial support for developing the industrial corridor. The minister said the State had already submitted the development plan to the Special Purpose Vehicle.

Work progressed under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction model. Moreover, Sridhar Babu said authorities would complete all infrastructure works within the committed timelines. The tendering process for water supply infrastructure had already concluded.
