Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudharshan Reddy sought the cooperation of all political parties for the successful conduct of the SIR survey scheduled to begin on June 25.
Addressing a meeting at BRK Bhavan, he said the Election Commission of India launched the Special Intensive Revision exercise to prepare a clean electoral roll.
The exercise aims to include eligible voters and remove ineligible entries.
Accordingly, he urged political parties to extend full support.
The CEO said Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will conduct a door-to-door enumeration drive from June 25 to July 24.
They will distribute enumeration forms to households in their respective jurisdictions.

Meanwhile, Sudharshan Reddy asked political parties to guide their Booth Level Agents (BLAs).
He also urged them to help voters complete the enumeration process correctly.
Further, he called on political parties to create awareness about the objectives of the exercise.
Additionally, he asked them to prevent misconceptions among the public.
He also requested cooperation in maintaining peace and order during the survey period.
The CEO clarified that officials will include every voter who submits a completed enumeration form in the draft electoral roll.
Authorities will publish the draft roll on July 31, 2026.
Moreover, he said officials will continue the inclusion process irrespective of voter-mapping issues.
Meanwhile, voters can submit their enumeration forms online through the official portal.
They can use the website voters.eci.gov.in for this purpose.
Officials said the revision exercise aims to improve the accuracy of the electoral roll.
It also seeks to enhance transparency across Telangana.
