Narendra Modi global peace call highlighted by N. Ramchander Rao

Hyderabad: Telangana BJP president N. Ramchander Rao said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the world’s “only ray of hope” for resolving global conflicts through dialogue, as he urged students to promote peace during the Glow Peace International Peace Conference at Delhi Public School, Nacharam, on Saturday.

Addressing students, parents, teachers, and spiritual leaders, Rao said several countries were witnessing prolonged conflicts and stressed that dialogue, not war, was the path to lasting peace. He also warned about the dangers of nuclear warfare and recalled the devastation caused by the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Rao said peace should begin at home, in schools, and in society before it spreads across nations. He praised the organisers for holding the conference and encouraging young people to participate in peace-building efforts.

Students back Narendra Modi global peace initiative

Rao announced that nearly one lakh postcards, including about 20,000 written by students of Delhi Public School, Nacharam, would be sent to Prime Minister Narendra Modi urging him to champion global peace.

He expressed confidence that the campaign would grow into a nationwide and international movement promoting peace and dialogue. Rao said students could play an important role as ambassadors of peace by encouraging understanding and harmony in society.
