Hyderabad: A BTech student murder in Secunderabad’s Chilakalguda area triggered tension after a 23-year-old youth was brutally killed on a public road late on Thursday night.

Audio clip emerges in BTech student murder case
Relatives said Yavan had been in love with the girl for four years. However, they claimed he had stayed away from her and stopped speaking to her for nearly a year.
Despite that, they alleged the accused conducted reconnaissance before carrying out the attack. According to the family, six unidentified persons first attacked Yavan while he was watching television at home. They claimed the assailants chased him outside and stabbed him repeatedly on the road.
Family members also alleged that one of the accused, Sai Yadav, uploaded a selfie status on Snapchat after the murder.
Meanwhile, an audio clip reportedly surfaced in which the girl allegedly warned Yavan that her family members were planning an attack on him. In the recording, she allegedly said family members wanted to file a police complaint accusing him of harassment and were forcing her to sign documents.
She also allegedly claimed that her brother-in-law had planned the attack. Investigators were likely to examine the audio clip as a key piece of evidence in the case.
Yavan’s relatives demanded that the girl appear before police and reveal the facts related to the murder.
