Satyanarayana health condition after assault in forest area

According to police, Satyanarayana suffered a serious head injury during an altercation in Raghavapuram village. He had objected to grazing and tree cutting in a forest area he developed.

Officials said he had transformed 70 acres of ancestral land into a forest over 15 years. The site is regularly visited by students and environmentalists for field studies.

During a visit, he confronted shepherds who were grazing livestock and cutting trees. Subsequently, they allegedly attacked him with sticks and axes.

Local residents shifted him to Suryapet Government General Hospital. Based on his complaint, police registered a case.
