MANUU launches BTech courses for 2026-27 academic year

Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) launched B.Tech. courses for the 2026-27 academic year at its Hyderabad campus under the School of Engineering and Technology.

The university introduced four programmes approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. These include B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Civil Engineering.

MANUU B.Tech. Courses open with an entrance test

Admissions will be conducted through an entrance test scheduled for May 19, 2026. Moreover, officials said the test will follow the Intermediate (10+2) syllabus covering Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

The exam will carry 100 marks. In addition, 50 marks are allotted for Mathematics, while 25 marks each are assigned to Physics and Chemistry.

University officials said the School of Engineering and Technology has been equipped with modern infrastructure. Moreover, classrooms have Wi-Fi, and laboratories are fully equipped.

They said faculty members are drawn from institutions such as IITs and NITs and include PhD holders with teaching experience. In addition, the campus includes a modern library with an OPAC system.

The university fixed fees at ₹5,500 per semester for boys. However, it set ₹1,650 for girls in the first semester. Moreover, hostel facilities will be provided to eligible students.

The last date for submitting online applications is April 27, 2026. Therefore, officials advised candidates to complete the process within the deadline.
