Hyderabad: Hyderabad Traffic Police booked a driver for using a fake number plate to evade fines and mislead authorities.
Police identified the accused as Mohammed Moinuddin, 43, a resident of Tolichowki. Meanwhile, officials found that he used a forged registration TS11EU5327 on his Honda Activa instead of the original TS12ER2466.
Investigators said he altered the number to avoid traffic penalties and evade finance agents. As a result, multiple challans were wrongly issued to the genuine vehicle owner.
