Cyberabad traffic police book 383 cases in special drive

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Traffic Police conducted the drive across multiple key junctions on Friday. These included Patancheru, Miyapur, Kukatpally, JNTU, Jeedimetla, Narsapur Cross Road, and Medchal.

Cyberabad traffic cases rose to 383 during a special enforcement drive targeting vehicles without proper or visible number plates.

Officials said fines amounting to ₹80,600 were collected during the operation. The drive focused on ensuring compliance with number plate display rules under the Motor Vehicles Act.

Authorities stated that the initiative aimed to improve road safety and enforce traffic regulations. They warned that similar drives would continue with strict monitoring.

Furthermore, officials advised motorists to follow prescribed norms for proper display of number plates. They said violations would attract penalties in future drives.
