Hyderabad: The Telangana government activated a helpline and coordination centre at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi amid the Nepal floods. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy directed officials to assist Telangana residents stranded or affected in Nepal.
The centre will help families who cannot contact relatives, pilgrims or tourists from Telangana. Officials will coordinate with concerned authorities to locate affected residents and provide necessary assistance.
The Nepal floods helpline will collect key details about missing or stranded people. Families should provide the person’s name, passport details, mobile number and present or last known location.
They should also share tour operator details and family contact information. Officials will use these details to coordinate with authorities handling the situation in Nepal.
The Telangana government said it was closely monitoring developments. Meanwhile, officials maintained regular contact with the Ministry of External Affairs, the Embassy of India in Kathmandu and other authorities.

Additionally, families can contact Sri G Rakshit Naik at 9618597969. Officials will use the helpline to receive information and coordinate assistance for affected Telangana residents.
The government said it would extend necessary assistance on priority. Further updates will follow as officials receive information from the concerned authorities.
