Hyderabad: An Attapur murder attempt was reported in Suleman Nagar, where a former employee attacked a furniture shop worker with a blade over a job dispute.
The accused targeted a man identified as Rehana, who worked at the shop. Earlier, the attacker had worked at the same outlet. However, the management removed him from the job and appointed Rehana in his place. As a result, the accused developed a grudge and blamed him for losing employment.
Investigators said the attacker planned the assault and waited for an opportunity. Meanwhile, CCTV cameras at the shop recorded the entire incident.
Attapur murder attempt took place while victim was asleep
The attack occurred when the victim was asleep at the workplace. The accused approached him and suddenly launched the assault using a blade he had brought along. He slashed the victim on the neck and other parts of the body.
However, the victim woke up and raised an alarm, forcing the attacker to flee. Police shifted the injured man to a hospital as he suffered heavy bleeding. Doctors began emergency treatment soon after his admission.
Subsequently, police identified the accused using CCTV footage and launched a manhunt. Attapur police registered a case and intensified the investigation.
