Village grievance resolution initiative launched by Adluri Laxman Kumar

Hyderabad: Telangana Social Welfare Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar on Saturday said he would visit villages regularly to resolve public grievances, ensuring people do not need to travel to Hyderabad.

He made the announcement while launching development works and reviewing welfare initiatives in Dharmaram.

Adluri Laxman Kumar, along with District Collector Koya Sri Harsha, laid the foundation stone for development works worth about ₹2 crore at the agricultural market yard. He also inaugurated a paddy procurement centre.

The minister said officials are working to provide basic infrastructure in all villages of Dharmaram mandal. He added that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has assured special funds for village development.

He proposed a mini stadium in Dharmaram to promote sports among youth. He also said the government will set up an advanced technology centre at Erraguntapalli for technical education.

In addition, he announced the upgradation of an ST Mini Gurukul School to Class 10, with 75 percent seats reserved for tribal students.

Village grievance resolution initiative focuses on farmers and welfare

Adluri Laxman Kumar urged farmers to use government procurement centres. He assured that authorities would clear paddy payments within 48 hours.

He added that officials would set up a maize procurement centre in Dharmaram if needed.

Koya Sri Harsha said the administration distributed agricultural equipment worth ₹18.24 lakh to 61 farmers under subsidy schemes. He added that procurement operations are running smoothly, although high temperatures may slow loading work.

The programme also included distribution of welfare benefits. Authorities issued Kalyana Lakshmi cheques to 23 beneficiaries, a Shaadi Mubarak cheque to one beneficiary, and Chief Minister’s Relief Fund assistance to several recipients.

The minister said the government is focusing on inclusive development beyond political lines. He added that he will visit the constituency three days a week to address issues directly.

Public representatives, officials, and local leaders attended the programme.
