Damodar Rajanarasimha launches development works in Andole constituency

Hyderabad: Telangana Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha launched Andole development works during his tour of the constituency, initiating multiple projects at Jogipet Polytechnic College.

The minister inaugurated works worth about ₹75 lakh funded through corporate social responsibility initiatives. He launched a Mechanical Workshop Shed built at a cost of ₹43 lakh with support from the Newland Foundation.

He also inaugurated four High Mast LED street lights installed with ₹6 lakh from District Mineral Foundation Trust funds. In addition, he opened a Computer Lab established with ₹26 lakh CSR support from Toshiba.

Andole development works focus on education infrastructure

Addressing the gathering, the minister said ₹2.35 crore had been invested so far through CSR funds for the development of Jogipet Polytechnic College. He stressed that the Telangana government was prioritising education and healthcare sectors.

He interacted with students and assured further improvements at the institution. He said proposals were under consideration for a girls’ hostel and additional workshop sheds.

Andole development works expand with local support

District officials and public representatives attended the programme. Among them were District Collector Praveenya, Additional Collector Pandu, and Sarpanch Sandhya Rani. Representatives from the Newland Foundation, faculty members, and students were also present.

The minister said such initiatives would strengthen infrastructure in educational institutions and support long-term development in the constituency.
