Telangana transfers 12 senior IPS officers

Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Monday announced IPS transfers, issuing new postings and additional responsibilities for 12 senior Indian Police Service officers across the State.

The government gave Commissioner of Police, Ramagundam, Amber Kishor Jha additional charge as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Zone-I, Kaleshwaram. It also assigned Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Hyderabad City, D. Joel Davis additional charge as DIG, Zone-V, Yadadri.

IPS transfers include key police postings

The government appointed Sunpreet Singh as Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Cyberabad. It also entrusted him with additional charge as DIG, Zone-III, Rajanna. Likewise, it appointed N. Swetha as Commissioner of Police, Warangal, and gave her additional charge as DIG, Zone-IV, Bhadradri.

Further, the government entrusted R. Bhaskaran, DIG, CI Cell, Intelligence, with additional charge as DIG, Zone-II, Basara. It also assigned S.M. Vijay Kumar, Joint Commissioner of Police, Special Branch, Hyderabad City, additional charge as Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order), North Range.

The government posted Ch. Sindu Sarma as Superintendent of Police, CI Cell, Intelligence, Hyderabad. It also gave her additional charge as SP, SIB. Meanwhile, it appointed Y. Sai Sekhar as Superintendent of Railway Police, Secunderabad.

In addition, the government posted Chennuri Rupesh and Ch. Praveen Kumar as Superintendents of Police in the CID. It also appointed R. Venkateshwarlu as Deputy Commissioner of Police, CAR Headquarters, Hyderabad City, and Rajesh Meena as Superintendent of Police, Vikarabad.
