Hyderabad: MANUU undergraduate admissions have opened for the 2026-27 academic session. Maulana Azad National Urdu University has invited online applications for BA (Honours/Research), BA Journalism and Mass Communication (Honours/Research), BCom (Honours/Research) and BSc (Honours/Research).
The university will offer all undergraduate programmes as four-year courses under the National Education Policy (NEP).
Director of Admissions Prof. Syed Imtiaz Hassan said students can submit online applications until July 8. Candidates who did not appear for the CUET examination may also apply. However, the university will give preference to CUET-qualified candidates.

Applicants must have studied Urdu either as the medium of instruction or as a language or subject at the Class 10 or Class 12 level to become eligible for admission.
The university will offer BA (Honours/Research) at the Hyderabad main campus, MANUU Model School at Falaknuma, and its campuses in Lucknow, Bhopal, Varanasi, Nuh and Darbhanga. It will offer BA Journalism and Mass Communication (Honours/Research), BCom (Honours/Research), BSc Physical Sciences (Honours/Research) and BSc Life Sciences (Honours/Research) only at the Hyderabad main campus in Gachibowli.
The university will publish the first selection list on July 10. Candidates in the first selection list can upload their documents from July 11 to 13. Officials will verify the certificates on July 14. Candidates can pay the admission fee on July 15 and 16. Classes will begin on July 15, while the university will release the second selection list on July 21.
