UoH opens admissions for UG, integrated PG programmes

Hyderabad: The University of Hyderabad (UoH) has opened UoH admissions for undergraduate and integrated postgraduate programmes for the 2026–27 academic year. The university will admit candidates based on CUET (UG) 2026 scores, with online applications open until July 21.

The central university, recognised as an Institution of Eminence, is offering 470 seats across 17 specialised programmes. These include a four-year B.S. (Honours/Research) in Chemistry, six integrated M.Sc. programmes and 11 integrated M.A. programmes in humanities and social sciences.

The university said admissions will follow the government’s reservation policy. Accordingly, seats are available under SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwD and Defence Personnel categories.

Furthermore, the online application process began on July 7. The counselling list will be published on August 3, while classes will commence on August 17.

Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the university’s official academic portal. They can also access the admission prospectus and detailed eligibility criteria on the university’s websites.

Meanwhile, the university advised applicants to complete the process before the July 21 deadline. It said UoH admissions for the 2026–27 academic year will be processed based on CUET (UG) 2026 merit.
