According to police, Sridhar knew cash had accumulated at the Flipkart and Shadowfax Technologies offices because banks remained closed from June 26. He allegedly conspired with his relative, Sai Ravi, 41, a tiffin centre owner from Fatenagar in Medak, to steal the money.

The duo allegedly reached Narsapur around midnight on Sunday. They forced open the rear door and entered the office. Then, they switched off the CCTV cameras. Afterward, they stole ₹2,66,850 in cash and the CCTV DVR before fleeing to Medak on a TVS scooter.

On Monday, the accused allegedly headed towards Hyderabad. However, police spotted their scooter without a registration number plate near the Narsapur crossroads. Officers intercepted the vehicle and conducted a search.

During the inspection, police recovered the stolen cash, a Hikvision DVR and the scooter used in the crime. Subsequently, they registered a case and continued the investigation after examining the CCTV footage.

Finally, senior police officials commended the Narsapur police team for cracking the Flipkart office theft case within a few hours.
