Hyderabad: BRS MLC Sravan Dasoju on Wednesday accused the Congress government of weakening Hyderabad IT growth and alleged that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s administration was driving away investments through poor governance.
Addressing a press conference, Sravan claimed Telangana’s IT exports increased from ₹57,258 crore in 2013-14 to ₹2.68 lakh crore during the BRS government. He also said IT employment had risen to 9.46 lakh jobs under former IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao.
Further, the BRS leader alleged that the present government had failed to sustain the sector’s growth. Citing official figures, he claimed IT employment had declined under the Congress government.
