Hyderabad software employee found dead, police investigate

Hyderabad: Rayadurgam police are investigating the death of a Hyderabad software employee whose body was found near his workplace in Gachibowli on Tuesday evening.

The deceased, Thiruveedi V. Avinash (40), hailed from Andhra Pradesh’s Nellore district. He worked in Bengaluru for several years before his company transferred him to Hyderabad about two months ago. He lived in Kukatpally with his family and worked for HCL at the Qualcomm building in Knowledge City.

According to the police, Avinash messaged his wife, Jyoti, that he would return home on Tuesday evening. However, she could not reach him later. She then alerted the office management and informed her brother, Arun Kumar, who lives in Ameerpet.

Police probe Hyderabad software employee death

After hearing that an employee had died at the Qualcomm building, Arun Kumar went to the premises. He identified the deceased as Avinash.

The IT company’s management informed the Rayadurgam police. Officers rushed to the spot, shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital for a postmortem, and registered a case. However, police said they had not yet determined the cause of death. They are continuing their investigation.

Avinash married Jyoti in 2018. The couple lived in Bengaluru before relocating to Hyderabad after his transfer. They have two sons.
