SIR help desk launched at Telangana High Court for voter mapping

Hyderabad: SIR help desk was launched at the Telangana High Court to facilitate voter mapping and improve access to election services.

Officials set up the help desk following directions from Commissioner and District Election Officer R. V. Karnan. Meanwhile, authorities initiated steps to establish similar facilities across stakeholder locations.

Additional Commissioner (Elections) K. Chandrakala and Deputy Commissioner/Electoral Registration Officer Charminar Sarita inaugurated the SIR help desk under the Special Intensive Revision programme.

SIR help desk supports voter mapping for 2002–2025 data

The help desk enables advocates to map their voter details with ease. In addition, officials said the initiative aims to streamline voter services and simplify the electoral process.

Hyderabad High Court Bar Association president S. Surender Reddy and members participated in the programme and extended support. Further, authorities plan to expand such facilities to reach more stakeholders.

Officials said they will set up help desks at residential welfare associations, employee organisations, and community development centres across GHMC limits. Therefore, the initiative aims to provide wider access to voter services.
