Konda Surekha urges RTC workers to remain calm during strike

Hyderabad: Telangana Minister for Forest, Environment and Endowments Konda Surekha urged RTC workers to remain calm and exercise restraint amid the ongoing agitation.

She said Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar are making sincere efforts to resolve workers’ issues. Meanwhile, she assured that the government remains committed to addressing their concerns.

She appealed to employees to express their protests through democratic means. Further, she cautioned against taking extreme steps and urged them to act with patience.

Konda Surekha said life is valuable and cannot be restored once lost. Therefore, she urged workers not to take impulsive decisions that could affect their families.

She called on employees to cooperate with the government in resolving the issues. In addition, she stressed the need for peaceful protests during the strike.
