Hyderabad: Government Adviser Mohammed Ali Shabbir on Thursday said the State government had accorded top priority to Kamareddy development. He said the focus remained on infrastructure, education and healthcare.
Speaking to *Disha*, Shabbir said he was making every effort to ensure balanced growth across the Assembly constituency. Moreover, he said the government had given special importance to education and healthcare.
He said the Panchayat Raj Department had sanctioned ₹75.19 crore for rural road development. Further, he said the funds were approved with the support of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and the district in-charge minister.
Kamareddy development focuses on roads and public services
Shabbir said the Roads and Buildings Department had also sanctioned ₹30 crore for the improvement of major roads. Meanwhile, the government approved an integrated school at Bhiknoor with an outlay of ₹20 crore. The institution will provide education from KG to PG.
He also said he had submitted a representation to Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha. He requested the upgradation of the Bhiknoor Primary Health Centre into a 30-bed hospital.
District Library Organisation Chairman Maddi Chandrakant Reddy, TPCC General Secretary Baddam Indrakaran Reddy, senior Congress leader Tirupati Bheem Reddy and others attended the programme.
