Hyderabad: Police intensified the search for the Shabad murders accused, Raj Kumar, who is wanted in connection with the killing of six people, including two children, in Shabad of Ranga Reddy district. Special police teams have been deployed to trace the suspect, who remains absconding.
According to the investigation, the accused allegedly called his relatives after the incident and claimed that he intended to end his own life. Police said his mobile phone was switched off shortly afterwards, making it difficult to track his movements.
Investigators are examining the possibility that the accused attempted suicide near Thimmapur railway station but fled the area before any train struck him. Police said the sequence of events is part of the ongoing investigation.

Police are also exploring multiple leads regarding the suspect’s whereabouts. Investigators suspect he may have travelled towards Bengaluru or the Srisailam region, and special teams have been sent to verify those possibilities.
Meanwhile, speculation has circulated locally that the accused may already be in police custody. However, officials have not confirmed such claims, and no official statement has been issued to support them.
