Shabad murders trigger political blame game
Kavitha alleged that the accused, who had secured bail in a POCSO case, sexually assaulted the 17-year-old girl before killing her. She also alleged that he murdered the girl’s mother and grandmother. Further, she described the subsequent killing of the accused’s wife and two children as a horrific act.
The Telangana Rakshana Sena chief alleged that the police and intelligence system failed to prevent the killings despite the accused’s criminal background. Additionally, she demanded the immediate arrest of the absconding suspect and sought stringent punishment against him.
Kavitha also demanded that Revanth Reddy resign as Chief Minister and Home Minister, holding him accountable for the Shabad murders. The police have launched a manhunt for the accused, who remains absconding.
