Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao met former MLA Balka Suman after his release on bail from jail. The meeting took place a day after Suman secured bail in a case in which he had remained in judicial custody for 27 days.
In a statement, the BRS alleged that the Congress government had filed false cases against Balka Suman because he had exposed alleged corruption in Singareni and raised public issues. The party claimed the government targeted him for questioning its performance.

The BRS further alleged that the Congress government had used false cases to keep the former MLA in jail for 27 days. The party also accused the government of attempting to suppress opposition voices through legal action.
However, the Congress government has not responded to the BRS allegations in the statement.
