Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Traffic Police issued a traffic advisory ahead of the Bibi-ka-Alam procession, announcing traffic restrictions and diversions across parts of the city on June 26. Commuters have been advised to plan their journeys in advance and follow police instructions to avoid inconvenience.
According to the advisory, the restrictions will remain in force from 12 pm to 10 pm in connection with the Muharram procession starting from Bibi-ka-Alawa, Hyderabad. Traffic personnel will regulate vehicle movement along the procession route and at surrounding junctions.
Motorists have been urged to cooperate with traffic police, follow diversion signboards and use alternative routes wherever necessary to ensure smooth traffic flow during the religious procession.

The Hyderabad Traffic Police said the temporary traffic arrangements have been made to facilitate the safe conduct of the Bibi-ka-Alam procession and to minimise congestion in the affected areas.
The department appealed to commuters to allow extra travel time, stay updated with official traffic advisories and follow directions issued by on-duty traffic personnel throughout the event.
