Hyderabad: Police issued a traffic advisory for Mehdipatnam in view of ongoing skywalk construction works, with diversions planned during night hours.
Authorities said traffic curbs will remain in place on the intervening nights of April 14/15 and April 15/16 between midnight and 6 am. The measures aim to ensure smooth traffic flow and prevent congestion.
Officials will divert vehicles coming from Masab Tank, NMDC and Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital towards Rethibowli and Nanal Nagar. They will redirect traffic at PVNR Expressway near pillars 2 and 3 towards Mehdipatnam via Meraj Cafe.
Traffic advisory details diversions at PVNR Expressway
On April 15/16 night, officials will divert traffic from Tolichowki, Langer House and Attapur towards Masab Tank. They will route vehicles at pillar number 23 for a U-turn and merge them back near pillars 4 and 5.
Police advised commuters to follow updates on official social media platforms of Hyderabad Traffic Police. In addition, they urged citizens to use alternate routes and plan travel accordingly.
Authorities also asked commuters to contact the traffic helpline in case of emergencies. They appealed to the public to cooperate with traffic personnel during the diversion period.
