Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner R V Karnan reviewed Hyderabad infrastructure works and directed officials to accelerate key projects to improve traffic flow.
He inspected Shastripuram ROB and Nalgonda Flyover along with senior officials. At the same time, he assessed progress and issued instructions for timely completion.
Officials informed that Shastripuram ROB had been completed and was ready for inauguration. Therefore, Karnan directed teams to ensure proper upkeep and maintenance.
At Nalgonda Flyover, works continued at a brisk pace. In addition, deck slab concreting and girder erection for up and down ramps were underway.
Hyderabad infrastructure works gain pace under monitoring
Karnan instructed officials to mobilise additional resources. Consequently, he set a target to complete the project by June.
He said regular field visits and weekly reviews would continue. At the same time, he stressed strict monitoring to avoid delays.
The Commissioner said these infrastructure projects aimed to reduce traffic congestion. Therefore, he added they would improve safety and ensure smoother commutes.
Officials said the works formed part of broader efforts to upgrade urban infrastructure. Meanwhile, they reiterated commitment to timely execution.
