Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed shock over the death of former Narsampet MLA and Telangana movement leader Peddi Sudarshan Reddy. He said the former legislator’s role in the statehood movement would remain memorable.
TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud also condoled the death. Both leaders described the loss as irreparable for Telangana and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family.
Peddi Sudarshan Reddy remembered for movement role
Revanth Reddy said the news of the former MLA’s death had deeply shocked him. He recalled the contribution made by Peddi Sudarshan Reddy during the movement for a separate Telangana State.
The Chief Minister said his role in the agitation would always be remembered. He also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the family during the difficult period. Moreover, Revanth Reddy prayed for peace to the departed leader’s soul.
Meanwhile, Mahesh Kumar Goud expressed deep sorrow over the former MLA’s untimely death. He said society had lost a good leader who worked continuously for public welfare and Telangana’s development. The TPCC chief said the death of Peddi Sudarshan Reddy had created an irreparable void. He extended his condolences to the grieving family members.
In addition, Mahesh Kumar Goud prayed that the family would receive strength to face the tragedy. He also prayed for eternal peace to the former legislator’s soul. Political leaders across the State expressed grief over the death and recalled his involvement in the Telangana movement.
