Hyderabad: The Telangana government has approved a temporary increase in *Peddi ticket prices*, giving a major boost to Ram Charan’s film ahead of its worldwide release on June 4.
The Home Department issued GO No. 7973 and allowed exhibitors to charge higher ticket rates for 10 days. The revised prices will remain in force from June 4 to June 13.
Under the order, single-screen theatres can charge an additional Rs 100 per ticket. Multiplex operators can collect Rs 125 extra per ticket, including GST.

The government also allowed theatre operators to screen five shows a day during the special pricing period.
Fans can watch special premiere shows at 8 pm on June 3. Theatre managements have fixed the ticket price for these shows at Rs 600, including GST.
Earlier, the Andhra Pradesh government granted a similar permission for the film. Consequently, exhibitors in both Telugu states will begin screening premiere shows from Wednesday night.
The Telangana government also directed exhibitors to deposit 20 percent of the additional revenue into the Film Workers Welfare Fund.
Director Buchi Babu helmed the film, while Ram Charan plays the lead role. Trade circles expect the film to register a strong opening amid high expectations.
