Hyderabad: TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud said Congress leader Rahul Gandhi would inaugurate the Nizamabad Congress office in the district.
Mahesh Kumar Goud and district in-charge minister Dansari Anasuya performed bhoomi puja for the new Congress office building in Nizamabad on Wednesday morning.
Speaking at the programme, Mahesh Kumar Goud said Rahul Gandhi had even sacrificed the Prime Minister’s post. He also claimed that people across the country were looking toward the Congress leader.
The PCC chief expressed confidence that the Congress party would return to power whenever elections were held in the country.
Nizamabad Congress office foundation laid in district
Mahesh Kumar Goud accused the BJP of creating divisions based on caste and religion. In addition, he said the Congress party would secure 100 seats in the next elections.
He assured that the Congress government would fulfil every promise made to the public. He also alleged that the previous BRS government under K. Chandrashekar Rao pushed Telangana backward by 50 years.
According to him, no other political party posed a challenge to Congress in Telangana. He further said the party would establish Congress offices across the state with a uniform model.
Mahesh Kumar Goud stated that the government would not compromise on development activities.
Meanwhile, Minister Seethakka said the Congress government had achieved significant development within two-and-a-half years. She added that the government had constructed four lakh houses within one year.
Government advisers Sudarshan Reddy and Mohammed Ali Shabbir, along with MLA Bhoopathi Reddy, also attended the programme.
