Hyderabad: BRS leader Manne Krishank questioned the delay in completing Alwal TIMS Hospital and demanded an explanation from the Congress government. He said the project remained unfinished even though officials had claimed that work was almost complete.
Speaking to the media, Krishank alleged that the former Cantonment MLA demanded commissions in every development project. He claimed work on the Tirumalagiri lake project stopped after the MLA visited the site.
Krishank said the previous BRS government constructed double-bedroom houses and handed them over to beneficiaries. However, he alleged that the Congress government stopped the allotment process. He also claimed the government distributed houses at private function venues instead of giving them directly to beneficiaries.
Alwal TIMS Hospital completion delay under scrutiny
Meanwhile, Krishank questioned the progress of 6,000 Indiramma houses. He alleged that the government had neglected land in Survey No. 157/1.
He said the BRS government planned Alwal TIMS Hospital to provide free healthcare for people from Alwal, Bollaram, Shamirpet, Medchal and nearby areas. According to him, the hospital would reduce the burden on Gandhi Hospital and Osmania General Hospital.
Krishank recalled that Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy had said the government had completed 90% of the hospital work. Therefore, he asked why the Congress government had not completed the remaining work. He demanded an explanation for the delay.
Additionally, Krishank alleged that police stopped BRS leaders from entering the hospital premises. He said the government had built the hospital for the public, and anyone could visit it. He also claimed the BRS would return to power and cautioned the police to act responsibly.
