Hyderabad: KTR demands probe into an alleged attack on his PRO Mahesh Mudiraj and PA Mahender Reddy at Saifabad police station. The BRS working president alleged that around 15 masked men tried to attack the two inside the station.
KTR questioned whether the attackers were goons or police personnel. He demanded clarity on the identity of those who allegedly came in plain clothes.
The BRS leader also alleged that police refused to register an FIR over the incident. He said senior BRS leaders, MLAs and former ministers waited for five hours and sought registration of a case.
Speaking to the media during his Delhi visit, KTR also referred to an earlier attack on the residence of BRS president and former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. He described Rao as a senior leader who fought for Telangana and was elected Chief Minister twice.
KTR recalled that BRS leaders had gone to stop the earlier attack. He said police detained them at a police station, where an attempt was also made to attack them.

Referring to the latest incident, KTR said police had summoned his PRO and PA to the Saifabad station for questioning. He alleged that around 15 masked men then tried to attack the two inside the station.

The BRS working president said police also refused to register an FIR despite repeated requests. According to him, senior leaders, MLAs and former ministers remained at the station for five hours over the issue.
He accused the Telangana police department of working more actively for Congress workers. KTR further alleged that police were supporting those who attacked people inside the station and were refusing to register FIRs.
The BRS leader said his party would approach the courts for justice. He expressed hope that the courts would provide justice in the matter.
