Hyderabad: The Congress Party held its PAC and Congress district executive meeting at Crystal Garden in Kamareddy town on Tuesday.
TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud and government adviser Mohammed Ali Shabbir attended the programme as chief guests.
Yellareddy MLA Madan Mohan Rao, Jukkal MLA Thota Laxmi Kantha Rao, former MLA Yousuf Ali, DCC president Ale Mallikarjun and several district leaders participated in the event.
Presidents of Congress frontal organisations, mandal presidents, town presidents and party workers were also present.
During the Congress district executive meeting, newly appointed district executive members, mandal presidents and town presidents took oath and formally assumed responsibilities.
Party leaders also handed over appointment letters to the newly appointed office-bearers.
Congress district executive meeting focuses on party strengthening

Addressing the gathering, Mohammed Ali Shabbir said the Congress needed organisational strengthening from the village level.
He urged party leaders and workers to set aside personal differences and work unitedly among the people.
Shabbir Ali said party workers should ensure that welfare and development programmes of the state government reached every household.
He also stated that the Congress aimed to highlight people’s issues before the government and work towards resolving them.
According to him, leaders who worked sincerely for the party received recognition and opportunities.
TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud said the new executive committee should play a key role in strengthening the Congress organisation.
He asked party workers to conduct programmes extensively at village, mandal and town levels.
Mahesh Kumar Goud also urged the cadre to create awareness about welfare schemes and development programmes implemented by the government.
Yellareddy MLA Madan Mohan Rao said coordinated efforts by party workers would further strengthen Congress in the district.
Jukkal MLA Thota Laxmi Kantha Rao said the Congress had grown through the sacrifices of its workers and asked leaders to work collectively.
Former DCC president Kailas Srinivas Rao, Library Chairman Chandrakanth Reddy, town president A. Sandeep and Municipal Chairperson Ippa Umarani Srinivas also attended the programme.
