Congress launches training programme on voter list revision process

Hyderabad: The Congress party has intensified its focus on the voter list revision process launched by the Election Commission of India.

The party began training its leaders on the exercise at Gandhi Bhavan.

TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud, AICC Telangana in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan and AICC secretary Sachin Sawant attended the programme.

Saurabh, Nishant and Anusha from the AICC training wing are conducting sessions for TPCC master trainers.

The master trainers will later train Booth Level Agents (BLAs) in their respective constituencies.

Voter list revision process key focus for Congress

Addressing the participants, Mahesh Kumar Goud said the Congress had implemented the Sangathan Srujan Abhiyan in a systematic manner.

He said the initiative aimed to build a stronger organisational structure across the state.

According to Mahesh Kumar Goud, the party completed the BLA appointment process in more than 90 Assembly constituencies.

The TPCC chief said district and mandal committees were also nearing completion.

Referring to West Bengal, he alleged that the BJP’s actions led to the deletion of 93 lakh votes.

Those developments eventually contributed to a change in government, he claimed.

Party leaders should remain vigilant during the voter list revision process in Telangana, he said.

Describing the exercise as crucial, Mahesh Kumar Goud stressed the need to protect every vote.

Participants should implement the lessons effectively at the grassroots level, he added.

The TPCC chief also accused the BJP of pursuing conspiratorial tactics across the country.
