Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said Andhra Pradesh and Telangana should compete in development and continue progressing for the benefit of Telugu people.
In a message posted on X on Telangana Formation Day, Chandrababu noted that 12 years had passed since the bifurcation of the erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh.
He said the two states now had separate administrative identities. However, Telugu people would always remain united.
According to Chandrababu, a shared language, history and cultural heritage continued to connect people in both states.
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana should strive for greater growth
Chandrababu said both states should achieve greater success through healthy competition in development. He added that the Telugu region possessed a rich historical and cultural legacy.
He also expressed hope that the region would continue to register new achievements in the years ahead.
The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister said Amaravati and Hyderabad should emerge among the world’s leading cities. He added that every Telugu family should benefit from development.
Furthermore, Chandrababu said people in both states should enjoy better living standards and greater economic opportunities.
Referring to the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision, he called for stronger cooperation between the two states. He said Andhra Pradesh and Telangana could play a significant role in India’s growth journey.
According to Chandrababu, collective efforts would strengthen the reputation and influence of Telugu people at the national and global levels.
