Hyderabad: Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla honoured a young artist after she presented a foot-painted portrait during Telangana State Formation Day celebrations at Lok Bhavan.
Mule Vaishnavi, a junior assistant with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), gifted the portrait to the Governor during the programme held at Samskruthi Community Hall on Tuesday.
Despite her physical disability, Vaishnavi developed painting skills by using her feet. Over the years, she has earned recognition for her determination and artistic talent.
A longtime admirer of the Governor, Vaishnavi created the foot-painted portrait to mark Telangana State Formation Day. She personally presented the artwork during the celebrations.
The gesture drew appreciation from those attending the event. Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla and his wife Janaki Shukla acknowledged the effort behind the portrait and interacted with the artist.

The Governor praised Vaishnavi’s perseverance and commitment to art. He described her achievement as an example of determination and resilience.
In recognition of her accomplishment, the Governor and the First Lady felicitated Vaishnavi during the programme. They presented her with a memento and a cash incentive.
The Governor also conveyed his best wishes for her future and encouraged her to continue pursuing her artistic interests.
