BRS stands with people always, says Harish Rao on formation day

Hyderabad: BRS Deputy Floor Leader T. Harish Rao on Monday said the party had stood with people both in power and in opposition, as he greeted citizens on the BRS formation day.

In a post on X, he extended wishes on the party’s 26th foundation day. The message described BRS as a platform that united four crore voices and led the movement for statehood.

According to him, the party broke the chains of united rule and fulfilled the demand for a separate state. Moreover, he termed it a force built on struggle and sacrifice.

During its ten-year rule, the party transformed Telangana into a developed state, he said. It also upheld the self-respect of Telangana and earned wider recognition.

However, he alleged that people now faced hardship under the present government. Welfare had declined, development had stalled, and lawlessness had increased, he said.

Amid this situation, one slogan resonated among the public, he added. The call for leadership change continued to echo across sections, he noted.

Describing BRS as a force rooted in struggle, he said it grew with public trust. The party, he added, remained embedded in the lives of people.

The return of the party flag to power was not far, he said. Likewise, he expressed confidence that Telangana’s progress would resume soon.

Harish Rao asserted that BRS would return to power and expressed confidence in the party’s prospects.
