Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner R. V. Karnan on Monday completed census data submission through the self-enumeration facility and urged residents to take part in Census 2027.
He announced that he had finished the process online and called on citizens across Hyderabad to follow suit. The move, he said, would support better civic planning and service delivery.
Addressing residents, he asked them to spare a few minutes to submit their details through the official portal. He stressed that the digital option allowed people to avoid waiting and complete the process at their convenience.
Census data submission to aid city planning
Karnan said accurate participation would help authorities improve civic services and future planning. He highlighted that the online system remained simple, secure and accessible.
He encouraged households to complete the process without delay. Participation, he said, would ensure that every resident was counted and represented in planning decisions.
The GHMC chief reiterated that public cooperation remained key to strengthening urban governance. He urged citizens to take part and contribute to the city’s development through the ongoing enumeration exercise.
