Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka marked his Bhatti Vikramarka birthday celebrations with students at a Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) in Moinabad, Rangareddy district.
The Deputy Chief Minister spent time with girl students and interacted with them during the programme on Monday.
His visit drew appreciation from attendees as he chose to celebrate the occasion among government school students.

Bhatti Vikramarka, accompanied by Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, shared lunch with the students.
He interacted with the girls and enquired about the quality of food being served at the school.
Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Chief Minister said the government viewed the future of children as the future of Telangana.
He stated that strengthening education and student welfare remained a key priority for the state government.
The Bhatti Vikramarka birthday event also highlighted several welfare initiatives being implemented for students across Telangana.
Bhatti Vikramarka birthday event highlights welfare schemes
The Deputy Chief Minister announced that the Breakfast Scheme for 29 lakh government school students across Telangana would be implemented from June 15.
He said the initiative aimed to improve nutrition and learning outcomes among students.
Bhatti Vikramarka also noted that the government had introduced a midday meal scheme for students studying in government junior colleges.
Furthermore, he said the state was providing quality education, uniforms and shoes to students in government schools and welfare hostels.
According to him, these measures would help ensure that students in government institutions receive facilities comparable to those available in private corporate schools.
The Bhatti Vikramarka birthday programme was attended by local MLA Kale Yadaiah, Government Whip Patnam Mahender Reddy, Shadnagar MLA Veerlapalli Shankar and several other public representatives.
Corporation chairpersons Challa Narasimha Reddy, Anvesh Reddy and Kotnak Tirupati also attended the event.
CWC member Rudraraju, Library Chairman Madhusudan Reddy, School Principal Jayashree and other dignitaries were present.
