Ambedkar vision empowered common man, says Singareni CMD

Hyderabad: Singareni CMD Dr. Buddhaprakash Jyoti said Ambedkar vision empowered ordinary citizens by granting rights through the Constitution and enabling them to rise to the highest positions in society.

He made the remarks while attending the 135th birth anniversary celebrations of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar at Singareni Bhavan in Hyderabad on Tuesday as the chief guest.

Dr. Jyoti said Ambedkar vision empowered people not only through legal rights but also by building a framework that ensured equal opportunities. He described Dr. Ambedkar as a transformative figure who shaped India’s democratic structure.

He said the Constitution served as a unifying force for the country. It brought citizens together beyond caste and religion and strengthened a shared national identity. He added that the document remained a guiding force for governance and public life.

Dr. Jyoti said Ambedkar vision empowered society by fostering unity among diverse communities. He noted that the Constitution gifted by Dr. Ambedkar created a sense of belonging among all Indians.

He stressed that citizens must uphold the values embedded in the Constitution. According to him, the best tribute to Dr. Ambedkar lies in performing duties responsibly and maintaining integrity in daily life.

He said individuals should follow constitutional principles in both public and private conduct. This, he added, would sustain the democratic framework envisioned by Dr. Ambedkar.

Executive Director (Coal Movement) B. Venkanna and General Manager (Coordination and Marketing) T. Srinivas attended the programme. Employees and officials of Singareni Bhavan also participated in the event.

The event marked the 135th birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Speakers highlighted his role in shaping modern India and emphasised the continued relevance of his ideas.

Dr. Jyoti reiterated that Ambedkar vision empowered generations by opening pathways for social mobility. He said the Constitution remained central to ensuring justice, equality and opportunity for all sections of society.
