Hyderabad: An ASI death Manoor station triggered controversy after a police vehicle struck an Assistant Sub-Inspector at the Manoor police station in Sangareddy district, leading to his death.
The incident occurred on Monday night when Govinda Nayak, an Assistant Sub-Inspector posted at the station, was hit by a police vehicle driven by a home guard identified as Rama Rao.
Govinda Nayak suffered severe injuries in the collision. He was shifted to a hospital in Narayankhed for treatment. However, he died while undergoing medical care.
