Uttam Kumar Reddy urges 100% SIR digitisation in Huzurnagar

Hyderabad: Telangana Irrigation Minister and Huzurnagar MLA N. Uttam Kumar Reddy urged Congress leaders, Booth Level Agents (BLAs) and party workers to complete SIR digitisation in every polling booth of the Huzurnagar Assembly constituency by Tuesday afternoon.

After reviewing the SIR progress report available until 2 pm on Monday, Uttam Kumar Reddy appreciated party workers for achieving significant progress in several booths. However, he said work had to be accelerated in some locations to meet the target.

Therefore, he called for 100% SIR digitisation in every booth by Tuesday afternoon. Meanwhile, he urged Congress leaders, BLAs and grassroots workers to coordinate at the village and ward levels so that no eligible voter would be left out of the exercise.

SIR digitisation pending in 20 booths

At present, the Minister identified 20 booths where progress remained slow. These include Booth Nos. 29, 42, 32, 39 and 38 in Neredcherla mandal; Booth Nos. 127, 137, 150, 120 and 128 in Mellacheruvu mandal; Booth Nos. 215 and 253 in Huzurnagar mandal; Booth Nos. 55 and 70 in Palakeedu mandal; Booth Nos. 273 and 260 in Garidepally mandal; Booth Nos. 109 and 98 in Mattampally mandal; and Booth Nos. 166 and 181 in Chintalapalem mandal.

Furthermore, Uttam Kumar Reddy appealed to Congress leaders and workers to complete the exercise without leaving out a single voter. In addition, he said every booth achieving full digitisation would enhance the prestige of the Congress organisation.

Accordingly, he called on party workers to work with complete responsibility and make Huzurnagar the best-performing Assembly constituency in Telangana in the SIR digitisation drive. Finally, he reiterated the campaign message: “Every booth – 100%. Every worker – complete responsibility. Huzurnagar – a model for the State.”
