Hyderabad: Senior IAS officer Jayesh Ranjan has applied for voluntary retirement. His Jayesh Ranjan VRS request has sparked discussion in Telangana’s administrative circles. The state government and the Centre’s Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) must examine his application. They will decide on it under the applicable rules.
Ranjan held several key posts in the state government. He was scheduled to retire on September 30, 2027. However, he applied for voluntary retirement before that date, prompting discussion among officials.
Speculation has also emerged about his reasons for seeking early retirement. Some accounts suggest he felt dissatisfied with the recognition given to his seniority in administrative decisions and government priorities. However, the information provided does not establish this as the confirmed reason for his move.
