Telangana CM to hand over Group II appointment letters on October 18

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will hand over appointment letters to Telangana Group II recruits on October 18, Chief Secretary K. Rama Krishna Rao announced.

The ceremony will take place in the evening at Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad. A total of 783 candidates selected through the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) will receive appointment letters. They have been appointed to nearly 16 departments of the state government.

Rama Krishna Rao reviewed the event preparations during a high-level meeting on Tuesday at Dr B. R. Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat. He asked officials to complete certificate verification quickly and ensure that selected candidates and their families reach the venue by 4 PM.

Most Telangana Group II recruits belong to key revenue-linked departments

A majority of the appointees will join the Revenue, General Administration, Excise, Commercial Taxes, and Panchayat Raj departments. The Chief Secretary instructed the secretaries of the Revenue, Home, and GAD departments to coordinate and finalise the arrangements.

He said the event should inspire a sense of duty and public service among the new recruits, who will serve the state administration for the next three decades.

Senior officials present at the meeting included DGP Anjani Kumar, Special Chief Secretary Vikas Raj, Chief Secretaries Mahesh Dutt Ekka, Murtaza Ali Rizvi, and Sandeep Kumar Sultania, along with GHMC Commissioner R. V. Karnan and I&PR Special Commissioner P. Priyanka.
