Hyderabad: Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao said a mega farmers’ fair will run in Hakimpeta from November 7 to 9. The venue is in Dudyala mandal of Kodangal constituency. He spoke to reporters at the Secretariat on Friday.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will inaugurate the fair on November 7. He will meet women from self-help groups on November 8. On November 9, he will address a public meeting with about 50,000 farmers from ten districts.
Fair is part of government push to strengthen agriculture
The minister said the government is working to increase farmers’ income and make agriculture profitable. He said the government is undertaking many programmes to strengthen the agricultural sector. The fair is part of these programmes.
