Hyderabad: Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, Rural Water Supply, Women and Child Welfare Minister Danasari Anasuya, popularly known as Seethakka, urged students to study with dedication and achieve academic excellence. The Seethakka education message also encouraged them to compete successfully in an increasingly competitive world.
The Minister made the remarks after inaugurating a new Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya building, additional classrooms and laboratory blocks at Jawahar Nagar village in Venkatapur mandal on Tuesday.
The facilities were constructed under Samagra Shiksha at a cost of ₹2.30 crore. Mulugu District Collector Borkhade Hemant Sahadeo Rao accompanied the Minister during the inauguration.
Seethakka education message stresses modern learning
Addressing students, Seethakka said computer education had become essential for every student. She added that determination and hard work could help people achieve any goal.
The Minister encouraged students to pursue higher education and contribute meaningfully to society. Moreover, she said values, discipline and meditation played an important role in personal development.
She urged teachers to adopt modern teaching methods and provide education comparable to private schools. According to her, quality teaching would help students become responsible citizens.
Seethakka also asked teachers to prepare students to secure the top position in the State in future public examinations. She said the Telangana government had given special priority to strengthening education. Furthermore, she assured students that she would help resolve any issues affecting their studies if they informed their teachers.
Seethakka education message highlights women’s empowerment
The Minister said women had excelled in various fields and held important positions around the world. Therefore, she encouraged girl students to pursue their ambitions with confidence.
She also appealed to every student to plant and protect at least one sapling on school premises. According to Seethakka, trees created a healthier and more pleasant environment. The Minister said the government had appointed special officials to monitor classroom teaching and the quality of food served to students in schools.
Earlier, Seethakka inspected development works worth ₹61.99 crore under the PRASAD scheme at the Ramappa Temple in Palampet. District Collector Borkhade Hemant Sahadeo Rao accompanied the Minister during the inspection of the tourism infrastructure projects.
