Revanth Reddy urges focus on Telangana growth over politics

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Thursday said political battles should remain confined to election periods, while governments and leaders should dedicate the rest of the time to Telangana growth and development.

Speaking after inaugurating India’s next-generation solar module manufacturing facility at Seetarampur in Shabad, Rangareddy district, he said the State must stay focused on attracting investments and strengthening its economy. However, he added that political differences should not obstruct development.

The Chief Minister said the Opposition was disappointed after losing power, but his government continued to work despite criticism. Moreover, he reiterated the goal of making Telangana contribute 10 per cent to the national economy through sustained economic expansion.

He said the government aimed to transform Telangana into a $3 trillion economy by 2047. Therefore, it planned to improve infrastructure and attract larger investments to compete with leading global economies.

The Chief Minister also expressed concern over rising pollution in Delhi and severe traffic congestion in cities such as Bengaluru and Chennai. Consequently, he said Telangana had already initiated measures to ensure planned and pollution-free urban development.

Telangana growth strategy centres on investment and sustainable planning

Revanth Reddy said the government earmarked a 2,100-square-kilometre area within the Outer Ring Road under the CURE initiative for the service sector. In addition, Telangana has been divided into CURE, PURE and RARE zones to promote balanced and sustainable development.

Welcoming the launch of the solar module manufacturing facility, he directed the Rangareddy District Collector to provide housing and construct commercial complexes for families who lost land for the project. He also thanked farmers in the district for supporting the establishment of the manufacturing unit.

The Chief Minister said the government had already allocated special funds for the development of the Chevella constituency. Meanwhile, work on a 100-metre-wide road connecting Budwel and Kodangal was progressing, and he announced that he would return to inaugurate a temple in the area.

Premier Energies Limited Chairman Surender Pal Singh Saluja, Managing Director Chiranjeevi Saluja, Executive Director Revathi Rohini Buragadda and Director Sudheer Reddy attended the programme.
