Nizamabad Congress PAC directs BLAs to monitor voter revision

Hyderabad: TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud directed Congress Booth Level Agents to closely monitor voter revision after flagging higher deletion of votes in Armur constituency. He issued the direction during the Nizamabad Congress PAC meeting for the erstwhile united district.

Mahesh Kumar Goud, who is also an MLC, said BLAs should remain alert throughout the voter list revision process. He specifically referred to the reported higher number of voter deletions in Armur Assembly constituency.

The TPCC chief asked party representatives to carefully verify electoral roll details and documents linked to the 2002 records. Mahesh Kumar Goud directed District Congress Committee presidents to pay special attention to areas where the revision process had not progressed smoothly.

He said party representatives should exercise complete caution while checking voter lists and documents during the SIR process. In addition, he asked Booth Level Agents to actively monitor changes to electoral rolls at the ground level.

The Nizamabad Congress PAC also reviewed organisational matters and decisions taken at its previous meeting. Mahesh Kumar Goud said several Congress leaders and workers had received representation at different levels based on decisions made during the earlier PAC meeting.

He also set a deadline for completing the appointment of Mandal Congress Committees. The TPCC president directed party leaders to complete the process by the end of August.

Nizamabad Congress PAC discusses party strengthening

Mahesh Kumar Goud called on Congress leaders to work actively on both organisational strengthening and the resolution of public issues. He said every party leader and worker had a responsibility to explain the state government’s welfare and development programmes to people.

The TPCC chief claimed the Congress government had implemented development and welfare programmes unmatched elsewhere in the country. Therefore, he asked party functionaries to increase public awareness about government schemes and development initiatives.

The Nizamabad Congress PAC meeting also brought together senior party leaders and representatives from the erstwhile united district. Minister in-charge Seethakka and Government Advisor Shabbir Ali participated in the meeting.

MP Suresh Shetkar and Mayor Uma Rani also attended. DCC presidents Nagesh Reddy, Bobbili Ramakrishna and Mallikarjun were among the participants. Corporation chairpersons also joined the meeting.

Farmers’ Commission members Gadugu Gangadhar and Akula Lalitha attended, while Youth Congress president Vipul Goud also participated. The meeting called on Congress leaders to strengthen the party organisation while remaining actively involved in addressing problems faced by the public.
