NARMUL signs agreement with NDDB to strengthen dairy sector

Hyderabad: Nalgonda-Ranga Reddy Districts Milk Producers Mutually Aided Cooperative Union Limited (NARMUL) signed a tripartite agreement with the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB).

The agreement aims to strengthen the dairy sector in Telangana.

Under the pact, NDDB will oversee dairy development activities for the next 15 years.

NDDB will release Rs 10 crore in the initial phase to clear pending dues of dairy farmers.

Officials of the Telangana Dairy Development Department signed the agreement with NDDB representatives.

Senior ministers and officials attended the programme.

Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development, Fisheries, Youth Services and Sports Minister Vakiti Srihari attended the event.

Government Whip Beerla Ilaiah, Secretary Ilambarthi and Mother Dairy Chairman Madhusudan Reddy also participated.

NDDB officials and Dairy Development Department officers were present during the programme.

Officials said the agreement would strengthen dairy infrastructure and improve support systems for milk producers.
