Manda Krishna Madiga meets Telangana DGP C.V. Anand

Hyderabad: MRPS founder-president and Padma Shri awardee Manda Krishna Madiga on Thursday met Telangana Director General of Police C.V. Anand and conveyed his greetings on the latter’s recent appointment as the State police chief.

Manda Krishna Madiga called on the DGP at his office in Hyderabad and felicitated him with a shawl and a bouquet.

During the interaction, C.V. Anand recalled his association with the first phase of the MRPS movement. He remembered serving as a police officer during the agitation at Basheerbagh crossroads.

Speaking on the occasion, M Krishna Madiga said C.V. Anand possessed vast experience in the police department.

He expressed happiness over C.V. Anand’s appointment as the Director General of Police of Telangana.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for the leaders to exchange views and extend goodwill following the DGP’s assumption of office.

Several MRPS leaders and supporters attended the programme.

Among those present were MRPS State president Dr. Govindu Naresh Madiga, MSP national leader Tipparapu Laxman Madiga, noted lyricist and Nandi Award recipient Mittapalli Surender, film director Prem Raju and MSF State secretary Bairapogu Shiva Kumar Madiga.
